i need to write an arguementative essay. i wrote this thesis statement. is it okay.
"Vacation destinations are reflection of our personalities"

A thesis statement should give your topic and the point you're going to make about it. You've done that, although in a fairly simplistic way. It should also lay out the points that you are going to support and provide evidence for in the rest of the essay. You haven't done that. Add something that explains more what you are including as aspects of the personality that determine vacation destinations. I hope you're not going to just say that some people like cities and some people like beaches, because that would not be at all interesting.

Oh yes. I think so.
Anytime we are "free" to chose something, that choice reflects our personality.
My wife and I have great disagreements about this. They aren't earth shattering or divorce making. They are just preferences. And those choices really reflect who we are. She likes to go where she knows someone and I like to go where I know no one at all.
What does that tell you about each of us? And we are not the only married couple I know who have this slight difference of opinion. Good marriages work such things out: poor ones argue endlessly and needlessly about them.
