what breakers over than GE can I use in a GE residential Breaker panel?

    Any breaker that will fit the configuration of your breaker box. Look at your GE breaker and compare it to the styles of the other brands. Most are similar designs in today's breaker boxes.

    Many may fit, but only GE and "classified" breakers have been tested by an insurance underwriters (UL CSA) to operate safely.

    Classifieds are generally marketed to service companies to reduce the number of brands they need to carry on trucks, the smaller ones are competitively priced, larger amperages often cost more.
