    How can you differentiate between the different religious texts that claim they're divinely inspired?

    ~~~ I don't! They are all mostly crap!
    And every 'word' is God's word!
    Omni- means One, Omni- Self!
    ALL inclusive!
    One!
    So all eyes are God's eyes!
    All lies are God's lies!
    All healing is God's, all feet... all planets... all stars... all fish anuses are God's fish anuses!
    Omni- means all everything!
    There is nothing 'other' than God!
    Existence = the complete Universe = Nature = Reality = Consciousness = Truth = Love = 'Self!' = God = Brahman = Tao = ... etc....
    ALL INCLUSIVE!!
    'One'!
    If any religion has logically incompatible content that religion should be wrong. And must not followed. Pali Canon(Tripitaka) is very huge. But every content is logically matched. So, I believe only a supreme being can preach these content.
    Lord Buddha preached in Jnanasaara Samuccaya' that,
    As the wise test gold by burning, cutting and rubbing it (on a piece of touchstone), so are you to accept my words after examining them and not merely out of regard to me.
    Buddhism recognizes no creeds whose uncritical acceptance is expected of its followers. Instead the Buddha enunciated certain basic laws and truths about the nature, whose veracity he invited his followers to test for themselves. One of the traditional epithets of the Dhamma is "ehipassiko" (meaning literally "come and see") which is an appeal to the empirical verification of the Dhamma. Thus Buddha encouraged one to question and test his Teaching before accepting it. So, I believe it.
    You can check which religion has its prophesies fulfilled too.
    There are many prophesies in Buddhism all has become true.
    Please read about "The sixteen dreams of King Pasenadi Kosol and their Interpretations by the Lord Buddha" ( http://goo.gl/9Wxpnr )
    According to Buddhism life expectancy of humans getting down as we can see(Science will never be able to stop it). If any scientist could able to extend life expectancy of humans to more than 150years, I will stop believing Buddhism (but ascetic meditator may extend his own). Also start my science study again from current bachelor of science degree(from one of the top university in Japan) and will try to improve science. But according to Buddhism science is nothing it make me more wicked and helpless in the cycle of rebirth. It is useless in the cycle of rebirth. It rather wasting my valuable time as a human. When there is light why should we touch in the dark. Buddhism has answers to all of my questions. What is the smallest particle? What is the most fastest thing?(It is not light). Is life only on earth? How mind and brain work? How much size is this universe? When life started? How to become happy eternally? So, I don't want to touch in the dark.
  • God is love. If the text doesn't reflect this then it's a lie.
    Sure. The ONLY religious text that can be validated by objective science using the absolute reality of nature is the Bible. That means it is the only true word of God. IF God created nature, then nature has to agree and substaintiate the Words of God.
    If you indoctrinate a child then he will believe whatever he was engineered to believe in, so really won't have to.
    God is great isn't he?
