Why do we all still remember the Alamo?

    We don't, really. I think most people would not even remember in what connection the battle at the Alamo took place nor even exactly what the Alamo was.

    It's a perfect case study of those willing to give their lives for something they believe in. Doesn't hurt that the facts represent an outpost that was waiting for reinforcements that never showed up either :(:( Maybe we should also remember Benghazi???
