Austin Dillon drives the #3 Dow Chemicals sponsored race car, with Dow Chemicals & DuPont mergering, does that mean DuPont will return?

Just imagine all those years with DuPont on the #24 Jeff Gordon car, and now on the #3.

    The division that Jeff Gordon was sponsored by was their automotive paints division, which was sold & rebranded to Axalta. The DuPont that Dow is looking to merge with is the main chemicals division which never directly sponsored Jeff.

    no........In February 2013, DuPont Performance Coatings was sold to the Carlyle Group and rebranded as Axalta Coating Systems
