    Tips RECEIVED are required by law to be reported to the IRS and taxed appropriately.

    Tipped employees are legally required to report their tips to their employer. The employer is legally required to take ou tax, and to report the income to he IRS.

    No but if you are in a job that collects tips, and you dont report any, then obviously you will be on the IRS radar.

    those receiving tips report them to their employer who calculates the taxes on the and their wages

    there a people who fail to report but they may find themselves in a big hurt by not doing so

    It's supposed to be reported as income. It really depends on the person. I'm sure not everyone that earns tips report their earnings.

    Tipping is so unregulated and unaccounted for. Bottom line it needs to stop.
