Can we know the truth about God?

Ecclesiastes 12:13

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

Obviously, the truth is that God is imaginary until there's evidence to the contrary.

No, you don't, and neither does anyone else. Therefore, the truth is that God is imaginary. That's not saying "God does not exist"; it's simply defining what god exists as- a concept in the human brain. What follows immediately upon making that definition is "why would you posit the existence of this particular imaginary being while rejecting all others?".

Ask any religious person. He'll tell you exactly what god is thinking, and what he wants you to do.
