Why is Iowa always the center of polls and election? How about bigger states like California?

    They are NOT the center.............but for some weird reason, they Always get to go first.........so the media makes a BIG huge honking deal out of who wins the FIRST primary..............even though they rarely, if ever actually predict the right winner.

    who really cares what a bunch of Iowans think? They don't speak for any of the other 49 states

    Iowa votes first in the caucuses. Whoever wins both Iowa and New Hampshire (who has the first primaries) normally ends up winning the nomination. That is why they are the focus.
