What does it mean to "Archive Order" on amazon.com?

In my Amazon order history, there are several buttons beside each item, such as "Contact Seller" and "Archive Order." What happens if I choose to "archive" an order? I can't find anything in the help system about it.

    Archive means to make it not show anymore.

    It will just hide your order from your view, I don't know if it will affect your suggestions for future purchases.
