Do I need to get health insurance?
I started working on march 5 , 2015. Part time. I get paid 400$ every two weeks. And I have won less than $7,200 this year. My job requires me to have at least 1 year working in order for me to get the health insurance. So I do not have one.!I have no dependents. Live alone.college student.
Do i need to health insurance? Or will I be fined the $695.

Since you did not have the mandatory coverage for a minimum of 9 months during 2015 you will be fined at tax time.

The fine is the greater of $325 or 1% of your income in excess of the filing requirement.
If you are not a dependent, you add your earned and unearned income together. If that is less than $10,300, you will not owe.
