How do you calculate the amount of timber in a tree? The Tree would be about 30 feet high?

    From the picture, I'll guess one 8 inch by 8 inch by 8 foot, piece. Two of the 4 slabs will yield a one by two, 8 feet long. The middle will make one 2 by 4 ten feet long. Only short small pieces can be made from the left overs.
