If Obama care is defunded, what would replace it and how would that system work?

Obamacare was made up of the Republicans' own ideas! The individual mandate, for instance, came out of the Heritage Foundation. About 95% of Republican opposition to Obamacare is really just opposition to Obama. If Republicans got total control of the Fed. Govt. they might well repeal Obamacare and replace it with something just the same, then praise that as just what America needed.

The thing is, Obamacare was cobbled together out of a bunch of small unrelated changes that Obama thought he could get past the Republican minority (at the time). It was an alternative to the plan most Americans actually wanted--Single Payer. I think the Roberts Supreme Court allowed it to continue because they knew that if Obamacare dies, the next plan Americans will want is Single Payer.

What would replace it? Dead bodies because the GOP doesn't HAVE a replacement. Not unless you cuont the funeral home industry.

It would be a system where only the very wealthy get the benefits.
