Need help with adult problem.?
My next door neighbor and I were best friends for over 18 years. We were different, she is born again and always quoting bible, but we had fun together, spoke daily. She had an affair and I told her it was bad idea and we went to talking maybe once a week. My mother became ill, it was terrible and she died after a long illness that drained me.
She sent me fb message, that was it. Never called or came to funeral, nothing. It broke my heart, I moved on. Now she send msg, wants to catch up. WWYD?

She sounds like a fair-weather friend to me.
I wouldn't castigate her, nor would I demonize her. I would be friendly with her, but not really friends. Best friends should be there when you go through hard times. Since she's shown she isn't that kind of friend, then you really don't need that. So, be friendly, but I wouldn't keep her on....she's fired.
Move on and live a happy life.
