Is this what you would do to your partner?

If you took your long term partner to another city for their birthday, and they decided they wanted to talk about your business, and tell you that you're worth more than giving half of your company away, and to not sell yourself short, and you asked them to stop talking about it, but they continued to tell you that you shouldn't give away half of the company that you built, would you get out the car, completely ditch them in that city, tell them to "**** off" and "**** you" and break up with them?

    Depends how sensitive the topic is. On a scale from 1-10, if it was a 6-8.5 I wouldn't because in the end, he just cares. If it's a 10 and you repeatedly said to stop talking about it (not just once) then absolutely.

    I would never ditch anyone and drive off, I don't care your reasons

    No I wouldn't ditch them but would end the trip & break up with them.

    If they disregarded my request to drop a particular subject ,,,, they would be walking .
