Is this what you would do to your partner?
If you took your long term partner to another city for their birthday, and they decided they wanted to talk about your business, and tell you that you're worth more than giving half of your company away, and to not sell yourself short, and you asked them to stop talking about it, but they continued to tell you that you shouldn't give away half of the company that you built, would you get out the car, completely ditch them in that city, tell them to "**** off" and "**** you" and break up with them?
4 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation5 years agowhy is my boyfriend so rude to me? If I don't do something PERFECTLY, he harasses me about it. He doesn't just say it once, he says it 10x?
And he won't let me talk or say anything . He just keeps repeating the same words over and over and over again so that I don't get a chance to say anything.
Even when I ask him to stop, he doesn't.
4 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoIf your girlfriend parks slightly crooked in a spot is it ok to say "because you parked wrong" over and over and over again?
I didn't park the right way, so my boyfriend called me out on it, whatever. But then he wouldn't let me say anything at all after that- he just keep talking over me saying the same thing over and over again, not allowing me to talk or be heard.
What would you do?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoIs this dick behavior? And what would you do?
Tonight I parked crooked in a parking spot, and my boyfriend told me to be more considerate of other people in the future. Ok- whatever.
Then I said something and he made some comment like "is that something that you think is true?" And I tried saying that I didn t like what he was saying, but he just kept saying "because you parked wrong" "because you parked wrong" "because you parked wrong" over and over and over- not letting me talk at all.
I got frustrated. I said "close your mouth and open your ears" because I kept trying to say something and he was refusing to let me speak. Just being rude to me because I didn t park good enough.
I said "if you don t stop I ll leave." But he just kept doing it. So I left.
Then he told me that if I didn t come get him he was breaking up with me, and called me pathetic.
I told him I wouldn t have left him there if he would ve just let me talk, but that I left because he wouldn t let me speak. He says he didn t do anything wrong and that he wasn t being a dick.
Would you have left him there after you warned him and he didn t stop? Do you think he was being a dick?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoIs this normal behavior?
My boyfriend torments me on a daily basis. When I am upset with him, and shut away in my room to avoid his behavior, he sits in another room and talks about me loud enough for me to hear it.
If I don't want to talk to him he will walk around saying "I wish my girlfriend ___" or "My girlfriend____". He's not talking to me, just about me, loudly, to no one. We're the only two people in the house.
5 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoIs it wrong that I don't have a job?
I am in my final year of undergraduate education, thinking about going to grad school next. I have my own "small" business where I clean and organize for people once or twice a month. I don't have a lot of other income, and I manage to pay 90% of my bills on my own, but my boyfriend and grandparents help me with the rest. Should I get a "real" part time job where I make twice as less as I do on my own? Or am I ok free-floating until I can establish a career after graduation?
4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture7 years agoWhy does my boyfriend like to get me riled up and frustrated to the point of crying?
He knows the things that upset me, and he goes through the list every day. He does the same things over and over, and over the past year I'm worn down and it makes me so frustrated that I cry.
His behavior is different around other people, he just focuses this attention on me. I've made my feelings really clear, and he admits to doing these things, but he won't stop.
13 AnswersMarriage & Divorce7 years agoShould my boyfriend and I break up?
My boyfriend and I got in an argument last night, we had been drinking (him more than me), and after a few heated words he decided to bail out of a moving vehicle. So I grabbed his arm hard. I left bruises and even made scratches on his wrist.
I feel so awful and I can't stop thinking about what a monster I am to have hurt someone I love so much, and he seems fine and even tells me I should just be happy.
But shouldn't he be mad at me? Shouldn't he want to break up with me? I can't stand what I did, even though I was acting with good intentions, I still made a mistake and did something wrong.
