Sort of. The season was celebrated by pagans long before Jesus was a twinkle in Joseph's eye. However, if it hadn't been for Jesus, then Christian priests wouldn't have tried to convert pagans to Christianity, trying to make nice-nice by incorporating pagan celebrations into the religion.

Jesus and his teaching is for all seasons. Jesus taught us about God's kingdom (heaven), the most pleasant place to live and work with God. Jesus also showed us the way to enter God's kingdom. Jesus taught us that we earn our eligibility to enter God's kingdom by loving humankind and translating this love by doing good to the needy persons we come across in life. Please read Luke 10:25-37.

No, the Christmas season is pagan in origin. Look up the Origin of Christmas on the net if you don't believe it's pagan, or are you afraid to?

Indeed, He is.. the HEART of the season!
Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” (John 20:28-29)
