Should Austria unify with Germany?

It is for the people of these countries to decide. Countries bigger than and smaller than either of these had existed for centuries. So their merger may not make much changes either in Europe or in the world. Definitely it will be advantageous to these countries. Commonness of language and race and also geographical continuity are advantageous factors for unification. But the fact they had preferred to remain separate stands in the way of unification. Hence the movement for unification should come from within. .
