Why is it so warm in late December is it because of global warming?

It's most likely not global warming since it would slowly raise the temperature over a long period of time, not 15 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit average average for a month. It could be El Nino, or a temporary warm streak. Just because it's really warm doesn't mean it'll stay that way. Usually, the temperature will be closer to average when the whole cycle is complete. This means that it'll be a really cold winter for some spots, but it could also stay somewhat mild. It also depends on the wind currents.

in 2010 we had one of our coldest Decembers ever, its was because of global warming, when we had in 2012 we had a very cold and wet summer , this was because of global warming, in 2003 we had a hot and dry summer this was because of global warming, the greeney kranks and crackpots well find any excuse to make us belive this nonsense, everything they have told us has been a lie, they said 15 years ago thet summers with temp reacing 100f would be the norm, we were told drouts in Britain would be common place, the also said 20 years ago we would NEVER see snow again in London.

THE ONLY FACT ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING IS IT PUTS YOUR TAXES UP

In part, it probably plays a role, but there is also a thing called El Niño, and La Niña. We are pry experiencing an El Niño year, where it will be significantly warmer. La Niña is just the opposite, where it is super cold. America usually gets the El Niño, while Europe gets the La Niña. Global warming probably is contributing to the frequency of the El Niño years, but not directly to the warmer temperature. Global warming wouldn't raise the temperature 30° above what it normally is...

The term 'Global' should give you a clue. The warm of the Eastern US and record lows in Colorado should satisfy any intelligent being that the answer to your question is NO!

Global warming will always be in question...whether this makes warmth in global relations is perhaps a question long overdue for responses. Surely we neednt even mention weather or climate except to break...or more gently...melt....the ice.

It's because you are in a region that is having a warm spell in the winter. It's weather and it changes
