Give an example of something Trump could say that would lower his standing among Republicans?

If he said "Hey, you know what, I think it's reasonable that the US should guarantee healthcare for all citizens like every other civilized nation" I'm sure conservatives' heads would explode. Yet he talks about restricting religious freedom and they're a-ok with it. Conservatism is depraved.

Here's an example of something Trump could say that would lower his standing among Republicans:

"We have to stop pounding innocent people in other countries and start taking better care of our own."

"We are not saving anybody's tax dollars by short changing Americans."

Trump makes sense. Nonsense can only come from other candidates.

Nothing. He made disparaging remarks about veterans and military POWs and his polls went up

He could go back to his former stances on issues....like flip flopping

He would abuse the Office of the Presidency like Clinton & Obama have.
