The impedance (AC resistance) of 1km wire
10mm 1.91 ohms
6mm 3.3 ohms
4mm 4.95 ohms
1.5mm 13.3 ohms
(1760watt/110volts)=16amp load
10AWG = 2.5mm at 100 metres length gives a voltage drop of 6.23 volts at 19 amps This gives 2161 watts for a 2200 watt hotplate or 98%
