Question about Retinal Imaging. I now have vision insurance.?

My vision insurance paid 60 US for the eye exam which was great. I paid the extra 30 dollars for the RI so I would not be miserable for several hours. Why doesn't insurance cover it. I would like to hear from professionals in the filed if they think insurance should paid for the RI.

    It's because it's a NICE to have test not a NEED to have test.
