What happens if you aren't at home when your package arrives?

When I'm out and a parcel arrives, sometimes it's usually left with a neighbour or left at the Post Office for me to collect.

In Europe, they put to my mail box a notification that I have package and I take it and my passport to the post office and they give my package. I don't know in US, Canada, Australia and Asia. in Asia, most of the time they SMS you or Call you, but only once

If it's small enough, they leave it in your mailbox. But if it's large, they leave a note on your door and deliver it the next day AT THE SAME TIME.

A mail carrier leaves a notice and we pick it up at the post office.

UPS drops the packages on the inside of the gate.

I get a note in the mail to pick it up at Australia Post after a certain time.

They put a letter in your door or letterbox and you have to pick it up from the nearest post office

Here in Brazil, they usually left with a neighbor or call me.

They leave it there and hopefully no one will take it

It is left by your door.
