Thoughts on the girl name?

Taya pronounced Tay-ah. To made up sounding? Not pregnant or plan on using it, just curious.

    Taya (Tay uh) is a name from a show, but spelled Tea (Tay uh). I love that name, but Tea looks too much like (Tee, the drink), and I couldn't find another spelling. Taya works though.

    Ignore people who say its (Ty uh), just because someone was dumb enough to make the a in Maya (May uh/My uh) silent, doesn't mean it's true for every name that has aya in it.

    Source(s): Teia may also work.

    It's so ugly. Sounds so made up! On here I recently came across the name Bonnie. That is so much nicer. Taya? I don't think you have very good taste, sorry I'm not meaning to be rude or offensive or anything sorry if I have upset you, I'm just voicing my opinion. But it sounds like you're playing scrabble.

    That was my online username for quite the while. I spelled it like Tayia, but any spelling works. It's actually a really nice name, however fairly uncommon. I got it from yugioh but spelled it differently.

    I like it. It's pretty. Short and sweet, and I could see it going well with a lotmofmsifferent middle name options.

    It sounds too much like a nickname. I've met a few and they went by Tay.

    I really like it :)

    I know two Tay-Uh's -- one spells her name "Taea" and the other spells it "Taiya"

    I definitely like "Taya" (your idea) best though! The spelling looks nice, balanced, and clean. Very pretty! It also sounds lovely.

    Taya = 9/10

    For me it doesn't sound overly made up, or silly as it's a very cleanly spelled name.

    Yeah, I think it does sound too made up, some names you can get away with but this one isn't great
