You need to provide more information as to where geographic so that people can take weather, economy etc into account.
You need to provide employment status, working not working, student
You need to provide approximate budget range and or pay scale for monetary considerations
You need to provide how many people you are talking about 1, 2, 3 perhaps even ages of kids if there so that can be used to figure out the proper choice.
Apartment low up front cost no maintenance cost risks can be left when lease expires.
Condo, heavy up front cost, loans are difficult to get, Condo dues for external maintenance (some can be rather high), internal maintenance risk is yours. Since its a purchase, you also pay property tax, then when you want to move you have to sell it and pay cost of sale about 7 percent for realtor etc etc
Trailer: The hood is a tough one generally speaking. There are exceptions but on the whole trailer parks have reputations. Ownership brings taxes, maintenance outside and inside, Purchase costs are there and the sales costs when moving plus there is the lot fee.
