Need help setting up microphone equipment??

Okay, so I have a RODE NT1-A microphone. it already has a shock mount holder and pop filter attached.

I recently bought a mic stand and an isolation shield, so I can setup a little recording stand.

Well, I get all the parts, and the shield attaches to the mic stand just fine... But I can t figure out how to get my mic on there. It seems I may need some sort of adapter to get it to hook up correctly... I ve been struggling with this for a few weeks now and would really love to get back to my passion of recording music....

Here s all of the EXACT parts I have.

Any help is appreciated thank you

The RODE NT1A is a large diaphragm condenser mic. Generally, it is sold (new) with a shock-mount.

Perhaps there is a part missing from your shockmount?

will work... that part to the left of the hinge mounts to any standard mic stand.

Thanks for supplying the images of the shield and the mic stand... what we can't see is the shockmount you have for the mic... that's why I provided the link...
