Poll: Why does someone keep giving me a thumbs down?

✬People can basically do whatever they want here, but they can’t violate the ToS. They just act the way they feel. Don’t worry nor take things personally. Keep answering. That is why there is a like and dislike button for every answer, to agree or disagree with the answer or just push it for fun.✬

Some people just down vote people for no reason at all. Don't take it personally or as a judge on how good your answer is. The thumbs up or thumbs down don't mean anything anyway :)

Oh, but one thing: if you've been awarded a best answer, every time someone UP votes that best answer you get one point.

See, down votes don't mean anything unless you sort your answers by rating.

Hmmm... Maybe it's just people trying to make sure that their own answers look better. And so they down vote your answers, even if they know that yours is better.

Don't try to take it to personally, those people are only thinking about themselves, for whatever reason they want to be better. Try not to let it get to you. :)

I always get thumbs down even when my answer is perfectly good. Mainly in a certain section of Y!As where I have a lot of haters.

So it could be that there's people on here that don't like you for whatever reason.

Probably because for some reason they have taken a disliking to you.

Or someone may find your answers annoying.

Try posting anonymously for a while and see if that makes a difference.

its when you get flooded with many violations daily when you need to start worrying! ive been there.

It is just some moron trying to annoy you. It won't matter anyway. The asker will decide who gets best answer anyway.

Its better than seeing double zeros

well probably they don't like your answers.
