Now that we know Ted Cruz isn't a U.S. citizen, does his government shut downs seem to make more sense?

From what I've researched, both of his parents are citizens of US and that means their babies are going to have citizens of US. They moved to Canada because of his father's job replacement which means that they probably possessed visa such as visitor or business visa. They could have had permanent resident visa but that's unlikely.

Confusing thing here is that both Canada and US allows dual citizenship. He might had been born with a right of being both citizens of Canada and US. But since they all left when he was 4, he lived in US ever since.

Ted is 45 and has been living in US for 27 years. "Natural born citizen", what does this mean? It doesn't state that he had to be born in US. His parents were both US citizens and his mother was "natural born citizen" of US.

So from those reasons, he has right to be a candidate VERY LIKELY.

Ted Cruz is a US Citizen just Like Obama is a Kenyan.
