What is more powerful? A PS3, or a Laptop with an Intel Core i5 (2.2Ghz) and Intel HD4000 (512MB) integrated graphics?
Between the two, which is more powerful for gaming as far as graphics quality, and frame rate.

the laptop definitely.
the ps3 has really old amd integrated graphics (like an amd 4350 i think it was).
modern integrated graphics (like intel HD4000) is many many times faster.
But consoles use very efficient low level APIs so they get much more performance for the hardware they have. (pc is getting that in the form of directX12 and vulkan APIs sometime in the next year, but will only affect newer released games that support it).
But even with that, the laptop is still more powerful for gaming.

PS3 GPU is Based on G70 Chip in turn based on the NV47 (GeForce 7800 GTX) but with only 8 ROPs activated and 128 Bit memory interface
