Over my credit limit?
I just realized that my billing cycle hasn't renewed yet. I just made a bunch of school purchases that will put me over my limit in addition to the charges already on there. All of the purchases that I've just made hasn't appeared on my card yet so I don't know by how much I'm over. Will I be charged for going over? Or will some orders just be canceled

Totally depends on your credit card company
If you have been a good customer, pay on time they may approve the overage but will charge you a premium on every purchase that put you over.
If you are a new card customer, they may decline the entire thing, but you did get an approval code I am betting so they will charge you for the overage and you will have to pay the overage immediately

Generally if you're a good risk they'll let you go over your limit some. They will charge you an over limit fee similar to a NSF fee on a checking account.
