Should the UK Government halt all immigration until the police and intelligence services can establish their identity and criminal status?

    Those wishing to immigrate already have their identity and criminal records checked. You can't just get on a plane and then live in the UK forever - that's what visas are for.

    Great Britain's coastline in 19,491 miles long. How do you plan to police it? Banning legal immigration would mean that only criminals would get in.
