I ran System Restore on Inspiron 3137, It's been 12 hours on the screen which says (don't interrupt....). How long does it take? Solutions?

Depending on what needs to be restored, System Restore can take a whole day... or more!
Alternatively, your system is so broke, System Restore cannot fix it and it is currently hung.
Without more details, it is hard to tell.
