What is wrong with my sunflowers? (10 pts)?

I'm growing some sunflowers and there are some small problems with two of them:

1. The first sunflower has a leaf which is covered in brown-grey, bumpy stuff and it feels kinda hard to touch.

2. The second sunflower has super bright yellow lower leaves and the tips are brown?

Could any of you help me out? What is causing this, will this kill my sunflowers and (if possible) how can I treat this? Thanks so much!!

Also if it helps it has been super hot (like 30+ degrees) then it started pouring down but I don't think this is a problem because I watered them when it was dry and when it started hailing I moved them into the garage?

Update:

UPDATE: In case anyone was wondering, it turns out the first flower has a bacterial infection. The second flower has a nitrogen deficiency as the soil is too alkaline for it.

They are both growing fine now. The bacteria one is growing fine now and the infection is no longer spreading. The nitrogen deficient's leaves fell off but this didn't change the growth rate.

The first one still has part of the seed shell attached. Just leave it alone and it will fall off eventually. The yellow sprout usually indicates it is not getting enough sunlight. Are you growing these indoors? They don't grow well indoors.
