Should California be made into multiple states?
I know it'll most likely never happen, but wouldn't be a good thing? California is a big state with many cities, towns, a big population, all that means more issues to deal with. So why not divide it into 3 states, northen, a middle, and a southern. It would be a big boost.

Oh' man I would totally like to see California divided into multiple states.
Currently most districts are Red Republican,,, but Los Angeles and San Francisco make the whole state liberal democrat.
Or eliminate the all or nothing electoral vote.
Divide the electoral votes according to the popular vote.

That was an idea in the mid-1800s, to divide California into two states- one north and one south, since Southern Californians wanted to be slave state. That fell apart after the Gold Rush got under way, and most Californians wanted the state to remain free of slavery.
