How do I stop a dog from defecating or peeing in a specific area?

There's couple spots at the back of our property where a dog (or dogs) has been urinating often, and there's several lumps of feces. I think it's from dogs that wander the neighborhood.

    Depends on how much effort and/or money you want to put into solving this problem. I think a ScareCrow motion-activated sprinkler would do the trick.

    put moth balls around the tree.
