3 AnswersEngineering5 years agoHow do I stop a dog from defecating or peeing in a specific area?
There's couple spots at the back of our property where a dog (or dogs) has been urinating often, and there's several lumps of feces. I think it's from dogs that wander the neighborhood.

I don t want to throw out the milk that s beginning to spoil, so what can I use it in, besides pancakes?

Did she also have title, or was she just called Mistress, or something like that?
1 AnswerHistory7 years agoWhere on Loch Ness was that famous photograph taken of "Nessie"?
I'm referring to the blurry photo taken back in the 30s--I think--that shows a long neck and very small head. Is it possible to pinpoint the exact spot where it was taken? I'm especially interested in where the spot was in relation to Urquhart castle, which is on the north shore.
5 AnswersMythology & Folklore7 years agoCan scratches on vinyl records be removed?
I have four old records I want to sell, but one of them--the Beatles' first record--has a scratch on one side. Someone told me such things can be fixed, or removed. Is that true; if so, how, or where?

Do not recommend transferring the music to CDs, as I only want to sell these items.
If there's nothing I can do--so be it.

I came across this expression in a book, fiction, if I remember correctly. One of the characters, a policeman, used this phrase.

3 AnswersBiology7 years agoWhere is Restormel Castle located, and who was (or were) the owner(s)?
The only information I have on it is from an old book published in 1939, which includes some photos, a plan, and some information about the internal layout. What is the nearest town or city? If you don't know who the owner was, that's fine; I'm primarily interested in the location.
3 AnswersGeography7 years agoIs the Crusaders' castle, Le Krak de Chaveliers, still in existence?
The last information I had about it was in a book published in 1939. How much of it still exists, if it is there in Syria?
3 AnswersHistory8 years agoHow can I locate a gentleman named Nigel Young associated with Caerleon?
Over a year ago I was looking for information about ancient Britain and came across a website, which I've since forgotten, and asked a question of them. Nigel Young answered, saying that if I ever came across an old name of Britain to let him know. In reading a new book about the history of the Irish I came across the information he asked for. Unfortunately, I copied his e-mail address incorrectly. He would obviously be someone associated with that location--Caerleon--or a university.
2 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI need to loose some weight around the gut and butt. What are some plain foods that are filling?
I am a confirmed "couch potato," so don't say anything about exercise. But some foods, like yoghurt, can be filling without filling you up. Are there other foods like that, so that I feel full without having a lot in my stomach?
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoWhich automobile manufacturer first came out with a convertible hardtop, and when?
I remember Ford had one in--I think--1960, called either the Dreamliner or Sunliner; most likely the latter. But did someone else come out with one first?
2 AnswersOther - Car Makes8 years agoWhat is the difference between the M.I.T. and the C.I.D.?
From what I've read on Wikipedia they appear to be two departments with the same goal. Do they operate within the same legal and geographic boundaries? For example, if a murder occurred in Avon (or Dublin) who would investigate--who would have jurisdiction?
