Where is Restormel Castle located, and who was (or were) the owner(s)?

The only information I have on it is from an old book published in 1939, which includes some photos, a plan, and some information about the internal layout. What is the nearest town or city? If you don't know who the owner was, that's fine; I'm primarily interested in the location.

Update:

I'm assuming it's in England, but it could be in France, altho I doubt it.

It is in England - about one mile north of the small town of Lostwithiel in Cornwall. For most of its history, until it was rendered unusable after the Civil War, it was a royal castle - technically being part of the Duchy of Cornwall. The Duchy gave it to the nation in 1925, and it is now managed by English Heritage.
