Is the Crusaders' castle, Le Krak de Chaveliers, still in existence?

The last information I had about it was in a book published in 1939. How much of it still exists, if it is there in Syria?

    Yes, it's even in pretty good condition.

    Yes.

    It's ben a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2006,and is maintained in good condition by the Syrian government.

    Yes for now. Syrian government has been taking care of it. Heck even the Successor to the Assassins the Nizari Ismailis gave a crap load of money for repairs due to it being an important site to the history of their religion
