Is 2010: The Year We Make Contact worth watching?

I really enjoyed 2001 a space odyssey. Is the sequel worth watching?

    Yes. Its pretty good as far as sequels go. It answers a lot of the questions 2001 left open. Mr. Kubrick himself approved of the sequel
