as anyone ever recd a ticket from publishers clearing house in the mail?

well this is the third time for me and i just cant take the deception anymore so i am saying this: someone in that company gets great pleasure from telling people they have won thousands of dollars after they scratch off the ticket and wow there are 3 cars in a row and that means you have won the money.except turn the page over and discover you havent won a thing nothing nada not a dime nickel or penny but you must fill in the paperwork then submit it to the company then they raffle it off thirty days from now and oh yes you must get that form to them within 10 days in order to be put in a box and wait 30 days to see if you are the winner. Please someone tell me this is illegal so i can stop receiving these tickets surely there is a law against provoking a person like this because this evening i felt so angry i almost called them and said enough that i would have been arrested. i have never ever felt so angry and i am nearly 78yrs closer to departing this space i just do not need this provocation. thank you for listening i do feel better now. goodnight to my yahoo comrades.

They've been doing this for decades. We Americans are hit with so much advertising that we develop a 'bullsh*t detector'. When you see Publishers Clearing House in the mail, you know what it is! If you're not interested in subscribing cheap to magazines, you wouldn't even open it.

I walk from my mailbox past my recycling bin, and into the house. 90% of the mail doesn't even make it in the front door!

it's time there were federal truth in advertising statutes so you can't offer "free " offers that require a sign up or credit card number , you can't send bogus raffle winning notices and you can can't advertise in a publication that has circulations in the millions then only supply a handful of items to each shop that's bait and switch which is already illegal, you can always sign up to the mail opt out for junk mail

They have NEVER told anyone they have one ANYTHING if they didn't have an actual check to present on the spot. They say that IF one of the numbers you were sent is selected, you MAY be a winner. The fact you can't READ is your problem.
