Why are movies released one day before their release date?
I have been to many theatrical films and they always released one day before their announced release date. What is the reason for this? Or am I tripping?

They do! They are usually released mid night of the day they are scheduled to be released, and that is hella confusing because for us movie goers, we will have to stay up the night before. No, you are not tripping, it's true.
