Why do contestants on television game shows always say if they won big money they would help family e.t.c instead class A drugs and. Hoes.?

    TV shows want high audience figures; the fact is that sympathic candidates make the audience like the show more. Which makes many tv shows help sympathetic candidates in some way(s).

    It's the same with 'miss pageants'; the winner never says "I wanna be famous" but fluff like "I want to help third world blind children learn to drive sportscars".
