Why are some Celebrities becoming Flat-Earthers?

Question

B.o.B and some person named Tila Tequila (who's famous for some unknown reason) are both people who in the beginning of this year came out as flat-earthers. WHY!?!?!? Even Young Earth Creationists, and the Republicans running for president KNOW that the planet is NOT flat, but a sphere! why are those 2 so regressive and ignorant?

Being a member of the Baby Boomer generation, I have absolutely no idea who those people are, but I can tell you that they mean nothing to me, and their belief that they earth is flat is inconsequential to me and my life. If they're spreading this BS, all I can do is hope that someone counters their lies with the truth.

Lots of people seem to be celebrities just for the sake of being a celebrity nowadays. Used to be, you had to actually have some kind of talent. Now, all you need to do is make a sex video and voila! You're a star. Ugh.

The earth is actually an Oblate Spheroid, if we're being technical, but it doesn't matter.

Flat earthers are the stupidest group of people I've ever seen. Their arguments are even worse than Muslim arguments.

It's a cheap hobby. One of the best bible teachers ever was a staunch member of the Flat Earth Society because he liked writing the clever essays.

It is no different from a physics professor writing science fiction.
