How to say this in Italian?

How do you you're about to do something? For example, "Im about to go upstairs in a few minutes"

You can use "stare per + infinitive".

I'm about to go upstairs = Sto per andare di sopra.

We are about to eat = Stiamo per mangiare.

They were about to leave = Loro stavano per partire.

    Hope it is clear! :)
