Suggestions for arthritic hands for 60+ year old female?

Update:

This is somewhat new to her

A lot of pain

Can't complete work tasks in a manner she used to be able to.

Suggestions?

She's not a big fan of medication but I'd still like to hear about it if it really works maybe I can get her to try....maybe ha

    Why is this in dogs?

    -anyway- have you tried glucosamine chondroiton or SAM-e? My neighbor lady went from not being able to write a grocery list to knitting again taking glucosomine chondroiton (sp?)
