Yes, as a licensed tattooist in USA Ga. I would trust them more. They went through 8 years of schooling or more with this stigma. Many older people work in medicine and to have to live and work with a neck tattoo means that the older generation will not take them as seriously but they have had to overcome more just by having this ink. This also means that their superiors will see them in a certain light but they will have had to overcome this with knowledge of their profession to be able to make it into a full blown doctor. These people I would trust highly because their knowledge would far exceed their physical appearance. If you have a neck tattoo already and are asking about the way people will judge you it will not be easy and you will have to be able to back up any question in the current state of medicine. I thought about going back to school to become a surgeon and I understand what it means to be washing yourself with tattoos visible. It never changes who you are.

    Yes.

I don't see how tattoos can void the fact a doctor has been trained to degree level in such a difficult profession that requires a lot of time, intelligence and years of study. If a person carries their medical degree and is licensed to practice medicine it makes no difference what they look like. They are the professional.

I'd be surprised if you could get into med school with neck tattoos. The competition is tough enough without that kind of distraction. Doctors are pretty conservative. Their tattoos are hidden

Yes, tattoos have nothing to do with their medical ability or intellect.
