Why does American Christianity seem like its quite race-oriented?
Being Christian seems to often tie into being white

No I would disagree with that.
In the USA there are denominations which seem to have segregation but Christianity is not a white religion.
There are black churches all over the USA with very strong Christians.
What you tend to see is a Church with a congregation where just about everyone is of 1 race but that depends where you are.
This is less likely to be the case in New York or Los Angeles than Redneck Ville Alabama.
Its partly cultural. When I lived in London some Churches were very mixed and others were very black or very Chinese or very Indian because that is where the congregants felt comfortable.
Growing up I went to a Catholic Church which had a population 80% Irish, 15% English and 5% everything else.
The population has changed and the church is now 50%+ black.
I went to an evangelical Church which as about 70% white 30% non white and then I joined another very similar church which was 70% non white, 30% white. I joined it because Iiked the teaching.

I'm not sure what you mean. A very high percentage of African-Americans are Christian and tend to be more religious than white people. American Christianity is race-oriented in that churches tend to be very segregated. Sunday morning service has been called "the most segreated hour in this nation." But a higher percentage of African-Americans identify as Christian than white people.

Any so called "Christianity" that does not follow what the Bible REALLY teaches is NOT really "Christianity". Christianity denotes those following the commandments of Jesus. Matthew 28:20 - teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things."
Also, any religion that has divisions (among it's members OR other religions - such as Catholic, Baptists, Lutheran, etc., etc.,). 1st Corinthians 1:10 - Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should all speak in agreement and that there should be no divisions among you, but that you may be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.

This true but it is not God's way. Notice what The Apostle Peter who was a Jew stated:
Acts 10:34, 35
34 At this Peter began to speak, and he said: “Now I truly understand that God is not partial,+ 35 but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.+

ooooooo... don't let the Black Americans, or the Hispanic Americans read your question!!!
If you look at the ACTUAL STATISTICS (see the Pew Forum link below) you will see clearly that, by and large, religion (mostly Christianity) for Blacks and Hispanics IN AMERICA are GREATER than those for whites.
Next time, study your ASSUMPTIONS before asking uninformed questions.
Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)

Maybe the rich ones but Christianity is a sand religion started by brown people just like Judaism and Islam

Not the Christianity of the Bible-the Bible says that God is partial and that anyone whose heart is complete toward him, is worthy of him-sadly, some have deviated from the teachings of the Bible!
By the way, many Baptists are black-I am not Baptist, nor do I believe it-but I am a little puzzled as to why you think that Christendom is all white

Presumably because you are liberal. For whatever reason, liberals are obsessed with race, and racial relations colors their perception of everything. Let me guess - you also believe that Walmart, the Disney corporation, and the EPA are race-oriented.

When Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross Salvation was provided for all mankind from that day forward for all who would repent of their sins and by faith trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that includes all races so we are without excuse.
