Do Christians ever seriously question the things in their book? It doesn't seem that most on YA do anyway?

Do YOU ever question that "1+1=2" ? I mean, once you learn or know or discover something to be true, what's the point of questioning its validity.
And just because YOU don't know something doesn't make it untrue. A young child just learning simple arithmetic doesn't understand even the first thing about calculus, but does that make calculus wrong? YOU are that little child, ridiculously challenging God and the Bible.

No. Christians are told that it's the word of god. If it's in there, it's from god, so ultimately must never be questioned. If you see problems with the bible, then you just aren't understanding it correctly or are interpreting it wrong, because there is nothing wrong with it because it came from god. If that is what you are told, how can you really question it?

After I first read the bible I was stricken with severe cognitive dissonance; however, when the thoughts of "this can't be true" started creeping in, the deeply impeded fear of hell caused me to shut them out at all costs. Only after the most bitter struggle was I able to make peace with the fact that it was all just one of many primitive attempts to explain/control the world. I am much happier and, I would say, healthier, after throwing off that nonsense.

We sure did in seminary! We asked questions all the time. How will you learn if you don't ask questions?
So, Christianity officially does question things in the Bible. Whether people do or not is up to them.

That is the main reason so called "Christians" have given "Christianity" a bad name and therefore, dishonor both Jesus and God. Religions ALL OVER THE WORLD teach things OTHER than what GOD says should be taught. Matthew 28:20 - teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things."
So, how can we know what the Bible REALLY teaches? Look at this: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/bible-tea...

Yes... and as for those on Y!A, I don't want to sound dismissive, but we don't HAVE to! Others have done it FOR us.
Do physicists have to "seriously question" basic laws of chemistry, physics, etc. in order to discuss "higher level" physics? Does Stephen Hawking have to "seriously question" Laws of Gravity, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, etc. etc. in order to discuss cosmology? I'm NOT saying that he didn't LEARN these basic principles, I'm saying, did he actually SERIOUSLY QUESTION them... as YOU are implying that WE CHRISTIANS MUST DO.
Did YOU SERIOUSLY QUESTION how to write proper English in order to actually write your question, or write ANYTHING you write? Have you delved into hermeneutics, and language theory? No! You simply learned how to write English.
So why is Christianity the exception to this concept? Why must Christians SERIOUSLY QUESTION the "things in their book?" Why can't we simply LEARN from others who have "seriously questioned" before us? Theologians, Archeologists, ministers, etc. and then apply what we have learned from these others to discuss our faith?
Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)
MARANATHA! Come, Lord Jesus, COME!

Of course we do.
We struggle with some of the things written in the bible just like everyone else.
However we trust God and we trust the understanding will be revealed.

No need to. It's the inspired word of God.

I always question the bible.
"What does God mean by that?"
"When?"
"Where?"
"How?"
They're are questions well never know and we'll just have to find out in heaven:$

No they don't obviously. Their have already been thoroughly brainwashed.
