A power model is of the form y = a x^n
If you want to fit an equation of this type:
Taking logarithms
ln y = ln a + n ln x
ln y = A + n ln x
(using ln y and ln x instead of x and y), this becomes a linear regresion
A = ln a
Find a and b
a = e^A
b = n
So, in a way, 'yes.'
