Should women have to register with Selective Services?

Since women are now allowed in most combat roles, should they have to register with selective services when they turn 18?

    I think so. And I think they should have to serve in every respect like a man. Every respect. Mixed barracks, mixed showers, same haircut, combat roles with the same weight of pack and the same physical qualification requirements. No allowances made.

    Yes. There are more than enough roles in the armed services to accommodate women too small to be an effective ground troop.;

    They wanted that in the first place, it was the military that said they didn't want it. I don't think its a bad idea if they are treated equally, but the military still isn't female friendly and could not accommodate even the medical needs of large numbers of women. In the event of a war, if all the young people are taken, there will be no one to join the workforce in our country to run the machines that manufacture the needs of a wartime economy.

    While not dramatic women are used in wartime to take the place of men, if they leave too we're going to have more than one problem.

    Yes. We call that equality of the sexes. If Israel can have women in its armed forces, why not America. Are American women less fit and strong than Israelis? ok. lemme think about that

    The first woman in Tennessee to enlist in a combat role has gone AWOL. A Federal Warrant has been issued for her arrest.
