Stocking Question?

hello! Okay so I asked something like this already and got some great answers and corrections from you guys so basically I'm just confirming that this would be okay, and asking a few more questions :)

So heres the fish I'm planning on putting in there:

10 Rosey barbs

10 forktail Blueyed rainbows'

5 otocinclus catfish

and for the centerpiece fish, an American Flag fish.

I want to add some freshwater shrimp too, like cherry shrimp. would this be okay with the flag fish?

Would this be okay? and what tank size do you suggest?

Also for the filter, what kind of filter do you suggest?

The tank will be co2 injected and planted.

I would do about 50 gallons for the rosy barbs.

Then, add on another 15 gallons for the rainbows.

And 5 gallons for the flag fish.

And a little for the otos.

    That's 75 gallons.

    Instead of rosy barbs:

Try out cherry barbs. Much smaller. You could get away with 20 gallons for 10. That will bring your size down to about 40 gallons.

Tip: Those rainbows are sensitive fish. Make sure you do a fish-less cycle on the tank and do it right.

Rosey barbs get very large and might even eat the little rainbows. Its not a good idea, how about - checkered barbs, or gold barbs, banded barbs, odessa barbs, leopard or zebra danios, rummy nose or glow light tetra, chili rasbora, harlequin rasbora,,,, or if you want a red fish ruby barbs are amazing only get to 2.5 inches instead of rosey barbs that get to 6+ inches

Cherry barbs are another one, i hesited to recomend them after reading that they are prone to disease.
